Our Community Wealth Building Hub is home to a media studio.
We are inviting grassroots community groups, charities, and social enterprises to access free 1:1 Content Creation Training, helping you to better tell your story online and expand your reach.
• You will book in a session and fill in the online form to help us understand your needs and current level of experience.
• You will attend a 2 hour session at the Community Wealth Building Hub, based at SPARK:YORK.
• The session will help you refine your story to clearly communicate the value you create, build confidence talking to camera, and learn how to improve the lighting and audio in your content.
Following the training, groups will be able to access the hub to use the media equipment, and will receive 3 months of feedback on their content as you put into practice what you’ve learned.
Who will be delivering the training?
Training will be delivered by Ben Porter, a senior media producer with over 12 of years experience creating content for brands, charities and institutions.
His previous clients include Adidas, Reebok, Absolut Vodka, Burberry, Aviva, Santander, IBM, EY, eBay, Visit York, and English Heritage.
Ben is also the founder of York Creatives CIC.

The hub is located at SPARK:YORK in the city centre. The hub is located in an upstairs unit next to the lift, and next to the wheelchair accessible toilet. Further access information can be found here.
