Funded by the York & North Yorkshire Combined Authority’s Community Wealth Building Programme, Fieldwork was commissioned by York Social Enterprise Coalition to conduct research into community assets.
We are inviting York based social enterprises to take part in this research between January and March 2026.
• You will attend a 2.5 hour session at the Community Wealth Building Hub, based at SPARK:YORK.
• The session will include answering a few basic questions about your organisation, followed by a conversational interview.
• The conversation will be recorded, edited, and turned into short form video content that can be shared online.
Following this research we will be building an Action Plan to help support York’s social enterprises with Community Wealth Building activities.

Yes, it is part of our funding that we create content that can be shared online. However, we can edit out anything you wish to share in confidence that you do not want to be public.

Absolutely. We want the content we create to be shared as widely as possible.
