Funded by the York & North Yorkshire Combined Authority’s Community Wealth Building Programme, Fieldwork was commissioned by York Social Enterprise Coalition to conduct research into community assets.

We invited York based social enterprises to take part in this research between January and March 2026.

Following this research we delivered an Action Plan to York Social Enterprise Coalition, which outlines how the social enterprise sectors is looking to develop over the next 5 years.
